Good Bye, BMW Z4!
The E89, 2nd-gen roadster, came out 7 years ago. Though now it bowed out.
The latest one was an sDrive35is offering coloured in cool Valencia Orange Metallic hue. This one was the last to be equipped with the inline-six turbo N54 3.0-litre motor.
Even though hardtops plummeted these years, it’s sad to watch the Z4 leaving. Well, the automaker is working hard meanwhile on the vehicle manufactured together with Toyota. Codenamed G29 and called Z5, this new offering should feature a soft top. In such a way, it will be lighter than the previous offering. The trunk should also have more space.
The Z5 roadster should bow in the second part of next year. Production will begin in 2018 in Austria. Magna Steyr’s plant is located there in Graz. By the way, the Toyota’s variant will also be manufactured there.
