Frankfurt saw BMW 330e
BMW has shown its innovated 330e at the Motor Show held in Frankfurt.
The plug-in hybrid was created to appeal the eco-conscious customers. It is equipped with a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo V4 petrol engine and an electric unit. Besides, it has a 7.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. The engine is able to develop 184 hp (or 135 kW) and torque of 290 Nm (or 214 lb-ft). The electric motor generates 88 hp (or 65 kW) and torque of 184 lb-ft. Therefore, the model is able to produce 252 hp (or 185 kW) and torque of 420 Nm (or 310 lb-ft) when these numbers are combined.
The vehicle sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds. Its top speed is 140 mph. Besides, it returns 1.9-2.1 L/100 km with emissions of CO2 of 44-49 g/km. The offering is able to ride 25 miles on electricity only. Its top speed is 75 mph.
