BMW will show in Geneva a rival for Tesla Model 3

BMW representatives published a teaser for the new i4 concept on electricity.

The serial implementation of the car will compete in the market with the Tesla Model 3. The public debut of the vehicle will be held on March 3 in Geneva.

The electric car was created under the supervision of the Bavarian chief designer Adrian van Hoidonk. He called the car an "ideal BMW without emissions."

The concept has an electric motor for 530 "horses". The engine is similar in power to the 7-Series sedan and X7 crossover. In this car, it is an 8-cylinder 4.4-liter gasoline engine with two turbines.

i4 accelerates to the first 100 km/h in 4 seconds, and the maximum speed is 200 km per hour. A set of batteries at 80 kW/h allows you to overcome a maximum of 600 km without recharging. Battery capacity to 80% is carried out in 35 minutes.
