BMW X7 became a pickup

The automaker has already clarified that the release of a model with a similar body does not plan.
The project of such a pickup X7 required about nine months of development and 12 students created it. The first step in turning the SUV into a pickup truck is to dismantle the rear body, which has been replaced by a particular cargo platform, which is suitable for transporting the BMW F 850 GS motorcycle. The bottom of the platform has a teak tree, and the bike attachment points with handles are made by 3D printing. Another machine was equipped with an adjustable suspension.
Even in the car, some elements are made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic to reduce the weight of the vehicle by 200 kg. Up to 5 people and a load up to 200 cm in length can be in a pickup.
The engine in a similar X7 petrol, namely, the turbo 3.0 liter with 340 hp and 450 Nm.
