BMW Group suffers vast losses
For 2020, the BMW Group's sales, compared to 2019, fell by 8%.
The main reason for the drop in sales was the coronavirus pandemic.
BMW, Mini, and Rolls-Royce managed to sell a total of 2.32 million cars worldwide last year.
The most sales of BMW Group in 2020 fell in the U.S. (-18%). In Europe, sales fell by 16%. In China, the German company is doing better because the BMW Group has lost 7% for the year. The reason for that is the quick correction of the pandemic situation.
If we consider all the brands that are part of the BMW Group, the most affected by the coronavirus pandemic were Rolls-Royce sales - minus 26% for the year, and Mini - minus 16%.
