BMW 8-Series Coupe becomes a powerful police supercar
The German studio AC Schnitzer presented a police version of the BMW M850i Coupe.
The car is prepared for the Essen motor show, which was canceled due to the pandemic.
The novelty was developed under the program of the national campaign "Tune It! Safe!". Its goal is to show a car with resonant tuning and maximum safety.
BMW 8-Series from AC Schnitzer has acquired a gray-blue-yellow livery and the "Polizei" lettering, flashing lights on the roof and front bumper, plus a police radio station. The firm also added composite aerodynamic body kits, 21-inch alloy wheels, and low-profile tires.
The interior of the police car has aluminum pedals and supports for the left leg. Light metal is also found on the paddle shifters with decorative elements around the IRS.
The technical part of the police "twilight" has a retuned suspension with brand new springs and a new exhaust system with carbon-fiber tailpipes.
Also, German tuners have added the latest firmware to the electric motor control unit, which increased the 4.4-liter twin-turbo unit's output to 620 hp. and 840 Nm.
