BMW 7 Series Production Will Start In Indonesia
BMW is facing a growth in sales in Southeast Asia.
The automaker starts production of the 7 Series in Indonesia. They say that they feel very positive about Indonesia. The producer has also increased potential in the high-end market.
This means that the tariffs on selling the high-end sedans there will decrease. The cars will reach the showrooms faster as well.
Jakarta-located company’s plant is included into 5 partner factories where the automaker assembles imported detail kits and provides locally-made details. The company has invested $15.5 million for the last 5 years in order to enhance its factory there.
This decision was accepted when the Indonesian market began providing incentives for automakers that are going to build vehicles in the country.
