An unknown prototype BMW M8 was involved in an accident in tests

The paparazzi filmed a mysterious prototype of BMW, which failed tests at the Nurburgring.

According to eyewitnesses to Carscoops, the car crashed into the track's fence, after which it stopped in one of the turns. The vehicle was immediately covered with camouflage and evacuated from the highway. There are no casualties in the accident.

It was first noticed a week ago, noting the unusual air intakes, indicating a mid-engine layout. BMW officials said that the mysterious prototype is a mule with an M8 body used to test the latest components.
