Spy Images of the 2016 A4 from Audi
The whole set of photos from Europe showing the innovated Audi A4 (B9) followed the yesterday’s trio of unveiling spy photographs from China.
The next generation vehicle from Audi is scheduled to be revealed in the coming months. The A4 became larger, but it is expected to lose 220 lbs (or 100 kg). The weight loss is not the result of a diet, but of the change in favour of the MLB Evo platform. The vehicle has a more refined outlook than the current model and is expected to have more space in its cabin. By the way, some of the attached photos show the rather controversial display of the cabin.
Spanish press received informative details about the engine range approximately a month ago. The standard variant will include a 1.4-litre TFSI with output of 125 hp (or 92 kW) and the options will go up to a 3.0-litre TFSI generating 272 hp (or 200 kW). As to diesel engines, the entry-level choice will offer a 1.6 TDI producing 120 hp (or 88 kW). At the same time the high class model is supposed to be equipped with a 3.0 TDI engine giving out 260 hp (or 191 kW). A 2.0 TDI e-tron with output of 190 hp + 136 hp from two electric motors will also be offered.
A public presentation is scheduled for this September at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. Nevertheless, the automaker will unveil the innovated compact premium sedan online earlier, maybe in the second part of August.
