Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Revealed Powered by 565 HP
Aston Martin has revealed its V12 Vantage S model, enhanced by refreshed 6.0-liter V12 powerplant with 565 hp paired to brand-new 7-speed Sportshift III AMT gearbox.
Substituting the former V12 Vantage, the fresh Vantage S is the quickest road-going car the British brand has yet to offer, excepting the One-77 super model, of course. The V12 Vantage S hits 205 mph and is sustained by 457 lb-ft of torque that’s available at 5750 rpm.
A lot of race car technology has found its way on the brand-new V12 Vantage S, featuring CNC-machined combustion chambers and hollow camshafts in the engine. The fresh Sportshift III AMT (automated manual transmission) is a hydraulically-actuated automatic transmission with paddle shifters and is 55 lbs lighter than the former 6-speed manual transmission.
Undoubtedly, the V12 Vantage S will also sound threatening, with its exhaust system taken from the One-77 ultra car.
But the main beauty is the exterior with carbon fiber on the front grille, that was inspired by the brand-new CC100 Speedster Concept. Lightweight, forged 10-spoke wheels adorn a black colored roof and subtle exterior graphics set. Inside, fresh-style Sport seating including updated stitching and welt detailing, while customers can opt for 2 leather grade options: Luxmill and semi-aniline. The possibility to get Alcantara is also available. An optional Carbon Fiber Interior set underlines the door pulls with carbon fiber, also the V12 Vantage S will have the option of dark pedals.
