2014 Acura ILX Hybrid Price Uncovered
Acura ILX Hybrid will cost the same as the last year, but there have been some slight price changes.
While $29,965 is still the starting price featuring delivery, Acura raised the cost of its tech package-equipped model up by $200 to $35,485.
Technically unchanged for its 2nd model year, the vehicle still relies on Honda’s aging IMA mild hybrid system. The powertrain, which uses a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder and an electric engine provides 112 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque. EPA ratings suggest the model should return 38 mpg in the city or 37 on the highway.
Doubtful as it is to spend over $35,000 for what amounts to a fancier Civic Hybrid – around a $10,000 premium – the ILX actually crept up to beat every other Acura sedan in sales last month and through the first 9 months of this year has topped the aging TSX.
The tech package adds an enhanced stereo system, navigation, real-time traffic and weather news and more.
