Base Kia Sportage 2022 goes on sale

Kia has taken up sales of the fifth-generation Sportage, which debuted this summer. 

On the eve, the company shared pictures of the car in its different designs.

The full version has a two-tone body paint, a large sensor, "climate," etc. The base version has a small monochrome screen "multimedia," an air conditioner, and budget interior trim. We shall highlight the dashboard, which became digital.

The new generation of the model looks attractive enough. The basis of the car - a new architecture N3, which allowed slightly increasing the size of the machine: +180 mm in length (4.66 m) and +85 mm wheelbase (2.755 m).

The novelty is offered with two motors to choose from: a 1.6-liter turbocharged 180-horsepower engine and 6-speed manual or 7-speed "robot" and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 186 hp and 8-speed "automatic."

The base Kia Sportage 2022 is priced at $24,000.
