2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Revealed with Updated Styling and Enhanced Display

Exterior Enhancements for the 2026 Model

The Toyota Corolla Cross, positioned as the brand’s compact crossover offering, is set to receive notable updates for the 2026 edition. The front end has been redesigned to distinctly separate the gasoline and hybrid variants, accompanied by subtle interior improvements.

The 2026 Corolla Cross Hybrid introduces a grille that matches the vehicle’s color, a feature initially previewed last year. In contrast, the gasoline variant sports a more robust front fascia with bigger openings and a prominent bar at the top that prominently displays the Toyota badge.

Toyota has maintained the existing powertrain configurations for both versions. The hybrid model continues to be the more potent option, delivering a combined 196 horsepower through a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with three electric motors. Meanwhile, the gasoline-powered Corolla Cross is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 169 horsepower, linked to a continuously variable transmission.

Inside the cabin, the 2026 Corolla Cross now features a 10.5-inch infotainment screen positioned above a redesigned center console. Depending on the trim level, the digital instrument cluster is available in either 7.0 or 12.3 inches. Toyota has also reorganized the placement of buttons and ports, effectively separated the gear selector from the cupholders, and eliminated some vertical trim elements, resulting in a more streamlined and user-friendly interior.

Toyota will offer the gasoline variant of the Corolla Cross in three trims: L, LE, and XLE. The hybrid version will also come in three trims: S, SE, and XSE. Introducing this year’s lineup is the Cavalry Blue exterior paint option, available on the LE, XLE, SE, and XSE trims, along with a two-tone Jet Black combination for the hybrid models. Additionally, there are two new 18-inch wheel designs available for select trims.

Pricing Information

Toyota has not yet announced the pricing for the 2026 Corolla Cross. For reference, the 2025 Corolla Cross starts at $25,485, which includes a $1,350 destination fee for the base L trim. The 2025 Corolla Cross Hybrid S is priced from $29,845. Pricing details for the 2026 model are expected to be released closer to its availability later this year, with anticipated slight increases across the range.
