Peugeot Unleashes Designers' Creativity and Transforms 504 Break into a Unique Race Car

The Art of Automotive Design

Automotive design is a fascinating field that often involves translating radical ideas from paper sketches to actual production cars. While many designs undergo significant changes during the process, there are occasions when automakers give their designers the freedom to let their creativity run wild, resulting in spectacular outcomes. Peugeot has recently done just that, as their talented team has transformed the iconic 504 into a formidable Pikes Peak racing monster.

A Terrifying Pikes Peak Weapon

Peugeot Design Lab has spared no expense in modifying the 504 Break into a jaw-dropping race car. It features wide front fenders that reveal the tops of the wheels, a massive rear wing, enormous rear quarters, a large splitter, and an equally impressive diffuser. The car's absence of a rear bumper showcases the rear wheels proudly.

Inside the vehicle, a roll cage has been installed to enhance safety and protect the cabin. The cabin itself stands out with a retro feel, thanks to the checkered material used for the seats, dashboard, and floor. The 504 even boasts a rectangular steering wheel and the traditional number of pedals.

A Unique Tribute to the French Rap Group

The number 113 is prominently displayed on the wheels, roof, and various parts of the car. This number pays homage to the French rap group of the same name, which achieved notable success and made a striking entrance at the 2000 Victoires de la Musique awards ceremony by driving a 504 onto the stage during their performance.

Other Stunning Designs

In addition to the awe-inspiring Pikes Peak model, Peugeot has also created two other exceptional designs. One features a gray-brown exterior with vivid blue accents, while the other showcases a flat gray exterior, blue rear doors, a red hatch, and yellow highlights. Both models even have turntables integrated into their interiors, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.
