Peugeot 308 electric car not expected until 2023
A new Peugeot 308 with an electric powertrain will begin sales in two years in European countries.
The car will be a competitor for the German Volkswagen ID.3 electric car.
Alas, there is no detailed information on the electric Peugeot 308. Peugeot only clarified to Automotive that it's too early to talk about the novelty.
By rumors, the new Peugeot 308 will be based on the e-VMP, which French engineers actively develop. The platform is an upgraded version of the EMP2 architecture designed for electric cars.
It is worth recalling that the new generation Peugeot 308, which can conquer the C segment cars, will soon begin sales.
