The premiere of the new generation C-Class from Mercedes-Benz
The Mercedes-Benz W206 will be available as a sedan or wagon. Start of taking orders - the second quarter of 2021.
The sedan has the following dimensions: length - 4751 mm, wheelbase - 2840 mm. These parameters are more than those of the previous generation. The updated C-Class is equipped with a completely new four-lever front suspension and multilever rear.
The car will be equipped with LED headlights with a new technology Digital Light. Thanks to this, the headlights can illuminate the road and project warning signs on it. In the headlights are installed holographic lenses and 1.3 million reflecting elements.
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz W206 is similar to the flagship S-Class. The car is equipped with a multimedia complex MBUX with a digital dashboard measuring 10.25 or 12.3 inches. The central touchscreen display has a size of 9.5 or 11.9 inches. The multimedia system supports voice control, which is activated with the command Hey Mercedes.
A projection display will be available as an option. Now, it will reflect the navigation prompts. The system will indicate obstacles and road signs along the way.
Three engines represent the engine lineup:
- A 1.5-liter, 170-hp or 204-hp turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine.
- The gasoline four-cylinder turbo engine 2.0 l and 258 hp.
- Diesel engine 2.0 l for 200 hp and 265 hp.
All engines run on a "moderate hybrid" scheme, including a starter-generator that provides an additional 20 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The vehicles will be available with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
