The new generation of Mercedes-Benz SL appeared in the photo

Photo spy spotted on-road tests of the 7th generation Mercedes-Benz SL.

The start of car sales will take place in 2021.

The newest Mercedes-Benz SL is a test prototype today. The car is heavily disguised, which makes it too difficult to talk about its design.

The Mercedes-AMG division is developing the seventh generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL. The novelty is built on the MSA architecture, which will also be used on the new generation AMG GT. The SL's proportions and design are more in line with the classic roadster than the current car. The novelty will receive a 2+2 cabin layout.

The engine range will consist of several power units. Buyers will get performance with a "soft" hybrid setup.

The premiere of the new generation Mercedes-Benz SL will take place next year, after which the car's sales will begin.
