The new generation of Lexus IS debuted
Lexus has unveiled a new generation of IS sedan.
The car's length and width added 30 mm, and the wheelbase is the previous 2.8 m.
The novelty has a branded radiator at its disposal with a 3-dimensional structure, new headlights, and 18- or 19-inch wheels. IS interior now has a different front panel, a touchpad for the central tunnel, ventilation deflectors with a different shape, Mark Levinson audio with 17 speakers, plus a choice of an 8.0-inch or 10.3-inch sensor.
Additionally, the sedan is equipped with an improved suspension with brand new shock absorbers. The range of engines has not changed: the base car set in motion due to the 2.0-liter turbo V4 with 244 hp. and an 8-speed automatic.
Customers will be able to purchase a new generation Lexus IS with a 3.5-liter V6 at 264 hp, which interacts with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. Also, the novelty acquired a 315-strong modification of this power unit.
The driver will have at his disposal:
- lane-keeping system,
- pedestrian recognition with cyclists,
- auto brake system
- adaptive cruise control.
