Kia showed a version of the new Sorento
Kia has presented the latest version of the fourth generation Sorento cross with the PHEV prefix.
This car has a 7-seater saloon and a hybrid power plant to recharge the batteries from a simple outlet. It includes installing a 1.6-liter "turbo-four" for 180 "horses" and 265 Nm plus a 90-horsepower electric motor with 304 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed "automatic." The total is 265 horsepower and 350 Nm.
The liquid-cooled battery pack permits only electric travel for a maximum of 50 km.
The hybrid Kia Sorento PHEV should start selling in Europe in the first months of 2021.
