The new KIA Optima showed on official photos

Factory images of the new KIA K5 (Optima) showed its unique design, which turned out to be more dynamic.

The front body of the car was equipped with a Tiger Nose radiator, further narrowing the optics. The rear lights are combined in one strip. Sedan managed to grow in size, length, and wheelbase.

At the moment, the automaker has not yet submitted official technical parameters regarding the new product.
 
According to rumors, the KIA K5 (Optima) in South Korea will acquire the top Theta3 2.5-liter gasoline engine for 286 “horses,” which works with an eight-band “robot” with a 2nd dry clutch. The car will receive a 4WD all-wheel-drive system. Budget versions of the model will have gasoline 2.0-liter “aspirated” 1.6 liters at 178 hp along with the turbocharged T-GDI from the Smartstream line.

South Korea will receive the new KIA K5 at the end of 2019. Next, the car will follow in the United States and Europe.
