Mercedes-Benz will add O-Class to a line-up
Mercedes-Benz is preparing a new designation O-Class for Europe.
According to the Mercedes-Benz application, the O 120, O 140, O 180, O 200 indexes will acquire cars (SUVs, pickups, vans) and power motors.
AutoGuide says that the letter 'O' is used in the Daimler group for the city bus line. For example, the Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus has an O530 index. But a new application will be made with a different assumption, with separate writing of the index, by the type of passenger cars.
The O-Class name will get a line of miniature passenger vans. The company may not use patented designations at all.
