Chevrolet Silverado tried on six wheels

Hennessey Performance presented a project called Goliath 6x6. 

The pickup will appear in the amount of 24 pieces — each novelty valued at $375,000.

For the first time about the 6-wheeled car became known in 2018, when the Texas atelier distributed renders of the future vehicle. Now it came to live snapshots and announcements of the start of sales.

The base of this pickup is the Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss 2019 base. In addition to the additional bridge, there is a new rear suspension, an increased clearance of 203 mm, wheels by 20 inches and 37-inch off-road tires. We also highlight an improved cargo platform, a safety arc, an additional lighting unit, plus new bumpers.

The engine in a 6-wheeled car is a 715-hp V8 6.2 l with a power-driven supercharger and steel exhaust. To 100 km per hour, pickup accelerates in 4.5 seconds. Optionally, Hennessey proposes to improve the engine to the 819 “horses” by equipping it with Brembo brakes.
