1000-strong Jeep with an attached tree accelerate to 290 km/h (VIDEO)

American tuning studio Hennessey managed to set a world record with "the fastest Christmas tree in the world."

The tuners prepared the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV, adding a Christmas tree to the roof of the car.

The record was set at a test site in the American city of Uvalde, Texas. The 1000-strong version of the all-terrain vehicle went for testing, having an improved 6.2-liter 8-cylinder unit with a drive supercharger. The Christmas tree was specially fixed to the roof so that it "did not fly away."

As a result, the car accelerated to 290 km/h, which is 10 km/h better than the previous Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat record.

Hennessey's Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk debuted in 2018. The upgraded 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine is provided with power for three stages of forcing: 850, 1000, and 1200 "horses."
