Renewed European Ford Edge take a diesel 238-strong biturbomotor

Ford showed an updated cross Edge for the EU.

The new version for the US, which debuted in January 2018, for a Europe is not presented like a full "hot" version of ST, where there is a 340-strong V6. This unit replaced the exported variation of ST-Line with a brand-new biturbodiesel engine.

The engine compartment of the European Edge will include only 2.0-liter diesel from the EcoBlue family for 150, 190, 238 horsepower. The last unit is considered a twin-turbo engine. Provided to the engines 6-speed MCP or 8-band automatic transmission.

The ST-Line sports crossover will be fitted with 20-inch wheels (optional - 21-inch wheels), a tuned suspension, twin exhaust pipes, chrome pipes, electrically powered seats, leather and paddle shifters. The Ford Edge for Europe is equipped with SYNC 3 multimedia, supplemented by an 8-inch screen, a 1000-watt audio company B & O Play, wireless charging, cruise, full stop, etc.
