See 2018 Stonic From Kia

The Rio crossover was seen on a frozen lake in the northern part of Sweden.

The newest B-segment crossover from Hyundai has been snapped many times, but now it is the equivalent the automaker is posing for paparazzi. It should be called “Stonic”. This latest global offering should have a completely different look in comparison with the KX3 (which is of similar size). The styling should take inspiration from the latest Rio supermini. However, there also are some things taken from the 2013 Provo concept.

There should be the same motors that are provided for the 4th-gen Rio. There probably will be a turbocharged V3 1.0-litre petrol unit pushing out 100 and 120 hp. The latest South Korean supermini can be obtained with a 1.4-litre diesel unit providing 76 and 89 hp. It is not known if the naturally aspirated 1.25- and 1.4-litre petrol units found in the cheaper Rio offerings will be present in the Stonic as the crossover will be heavier that way.
