Frankfurt, Meet Picanto X-Line From Kia

Kia has revealed the Picanto X-line styled as a crossover. This happened before the motor show held in Frankfurt. SUV-obsessed customers, get ready!

The unit is on sale starting since the 4th quarter on the old continent. The Picanto X-line rides 15 mm higher than the regular car. It received a range of SUV-inspired updates, such as metal-look skid plates at the front and rear, contrasting black plastic cladding and lime green or silver highlights for the fog-light surrounds and enclosure.

The car also features 16-inch alloys, a 7.0-inch touchscreen media set-up with navigation, rear-view cameras, LED daytime-running lights, fog lights, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The model also received a sport-inspired D-shaped helm.

You will find the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine under the bonnet. It is available in the sport-themed Picanto GT Line producing 73 kW at 4500 rpm and torque of 172 Nm between 1500 and 4000 rpm.
