Cost Of Insignia Grand Sport and Sports Tourer Is Announced By Opel

Offerings with a similar look will make their way to Australia as a Holden and in America as a Buick.

Several months after presenting the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport, the German partner stated the price for the new car. The sedan will kick off from 25,940 Euros while the Sports Tourer wagon will start from 26,940 Euros. The orders are available from today and on.

The latest Insignia sports a different architecture and loses some weight. The sedan is 386 pounds lighter and the wagon is 441 pounds lighter in comparison with the previous models.

Customers will be able to choose from several powerplant options. They will get a chance to choose from 2 available tunes of a 1.5-litre turbocharged V4 petrol-fuelled unit producing 138 hp or 164 hp. They will be also able to pick another petrol-powered unit with the displacement of 2.0 litres. This one will be able to produce 256 hp. The bigger powerplant is also an option. It features 8-speed automatic and torque-vectoring FWD drive set-up.

People who like a diesel-fuelled unit, can purchase a 1.6-litre engine producing 109 hp. It is also possible to get a 2.0-litre unit with the output of 1668 hp.
