$34,695 for 2016 Jeep Cherokee Overland
Jeep introduced this year’s Cherokee Overland at the New England International Auto Show.
The offering takes its roots from the Grand Cherokee Overland. Its body is monotone. The car has body-colour cladding, fender flares and body-colour bumpers. The vehicle has received a power lift-gate, 18-inched polished aluminium wheels, chrome trim and HID bi-xenon headlamps.
Nappa leather upholstery adorns the cabin, a special helm with Zebrano high-gloss wood trim and an instrument panel wrapped in leather. Besides, the crossover benefits from an Alpine audio system, power front seats, ventilated and heated front seats. Berber floor rugs, GPS navigation, special door sill plates and a Uconnect infotainment system.
As to the technology, the new offering comes regular with a blind spot monitoring set-up, rear cross-path detection and a Parksense back-up assist.
Clients have a chance to order the Technology Group pack. It includes rain sensitive windshield wipers, an adaptive cruise control set-up, auto high beams and a wireless smartphone charger. There also are a 3.2-litre Penestar six-cylinder motor generating 271 hp and torque of 239 lb-ft and a Heavy Duty Protection pack.
The Cherokee Overland will be marketed starting from spring. It will cost $34,695 without a destination fee ($995).
