$1.2 million for 2017 Acura NSX 001!
The next-year’s Acura NSX with VIN #001 has brought $1.2 million at an auction organized by Barrett-Jackson.
Normally the model under consideration can be purchased for $156,000. All the money was for charity. It will be sent to the Paediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground.
NASCAR team owner has brought the first production ready model. Earlier he bought the first 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Coupe (for $1 million), first 2012 Camaro ZL1 (for $250,000) first 2014 Corvette (for $1,1 million) and the last BMW M5 “30 Jahre” (for $70,000). All the profit obtained from the 2017 NSX was transferred to different charities.
The costlier 2017 Acura NSX can be obtained for $205,700. It has got the highest available trim and lots of optional tweaks. A carbon fibber roof, a carbon fibber interior sports pack and carbon ceramic brakes are included for this sum of money.
The engine develops 573 hp and torque of 406 pound-feet. The hybrid supercar is able to sprint to 60 mph (or 96 km/h) in almost 3 seconds. Its top speed stands at 191 mph (or 307 km/h).
