Turbo Power and Design Tweaks For Kia Soul In Europe

Kia has not shared information about the American-spec 2017 model year Soul, but we consider that these European-market innovations preview that what will come.

The upgraded Soul will be presented at the Motor Show in Paris held next week. It will show off a new motor and transmission combination along with new technology.

The rumours suggested that the model will receive turbo power. It should be in the form of the automaker’s 1.6-litre T-GDI V4 engine producing 201 hp. While joined to an innovated 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the turbo Soul should sprint 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. The top speed is measured at 122 mph.

Turbo offerings stand apart from the Souls being added dual exhaust pipes, a restyled front bumper, new air intakes and outstanding 18-inch wheels.
