Street-Legal 1,020 hp from the Tuned Mercedes-AMG E63
The next year’s Mercedes-AMG E63 is coming soon!
It will rock 600 hp and the Posaidon German tuners are saying bye to the predecessor very spectacularly. The RS850+ makes the 5.5-litre biturbo eight-cylinder produce 1,020 hp and torque of 1,033 pound-feet. According to Mercedes, that’s their most powerful street legal vehicle.
Extensive work was fulfilled in order to produce this model. Technicians at Posaidon replace all the main engine internals. Besides, they boosted the gear box so that it is able to handle the torque. Extra power is provided thankfully to bigger turbos that were added to the powerplant.
In the result the company received a 4-wheel drive sedan hitting 62 mph in only 2.8 seconds. The top speed is limited at 218 mph as that’s the limit of the tyres. The carbon-ceramic 16.5-inch brakes featuring 6-piston callipers and 14.2-inch 4-piston parts were fitted in the front and at the rear respectively.
