Mercedes is preparing a 'Dangerously Fast' Tesla Model S Competitor

Mercedes-Benz has some serious plans concerning high-performance EVs.

Reports suggest that the company will present its fully-electric SUV concept this October. The event will take place at the Motor Show held in Paris. Motoring (Australia) states that the German producer is also going to showcase the 4-door concept competitor for the Model S from Tesla. The plans for this model have been confirmed. It is said to be a 4-seater sedan featuring 4-wheeel drive.

The company’s E-Drive system integration chief says that the fully-electric powerplant will feature high performance levels. It is going to be something in the top three. Speaking of the vehicle’s performance the director hinted that it will be dangerous (dangerously fast he meant).

The German company wants to set a Nurburgring record for it s competitor (the Model S from Tesla). The vehicle will go extremely fast at corners. This sporty vehicle will be in size as the producer wants to catch as many passengers as possible.

The model’s range will be around 310 miles.
