Mercedes Focuses on Electric Vehicles

Mercedes-Benz wants to focus on EVs. The producer is aware that this segment is growing and bringing profit. So, the company is adjusting its planning.

The German manufacturer will share more ideas for the EV segment at this year’s Motor Show that will be held in Paris this October. The CEO says that it’s crucial to get the right timing. He also noticed that they have become more “bullish” in that regard.

This June Daimler’s main development officer stated that the company will showcase the fully-electric prototype featuring a 310-mile range at the Motor Show held in Paris. According to him, it should be marketed in 2020. If the rumours are right, Mercedes is developing rivals to the Model S and Model X.
