Mercedes-AMG GT R will be presented in June

The GT R from Mercedes-AMG will be presented at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The high-end sports vehicle debut should be kept in a secret, but Michelin revealed it by an accident.

The original release talks about the Michelin Supercar Paddock which will return for the 5th year at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The brand stated that one of the cars that will appear in the Supercar Paddock will be the GT R from Mercedes-AMG. The model rides with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2. It produces 570 hp.

Paparazzi spotted the model’s testing. It will probably be equipped with a tuned version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder motor in the GT and GT S offerings.

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed kicks off on June 23 and lasts till June 26. Mercedes will state the details about the GT R before the event. The vehicle will be launched for sale in America next summer.
