Is GLC Cabriolet from Mercedes a Possibility?

Mercedes-Benz has already presented the GLC Coupe. According to a new report, it might develop a convertible variant of the car.

This really was a surprise. Convertible SUVs could be the next step. The German producer is eager to be the first to introduce an offering.

According to Autocar, an executive of the brand made a hint at a GLC Cabriolet. In his interview with the magazine, the chief engineer for the CLS, GLC and E-Class stated that he is a fan of the Evoque Convertible. Besides, he says that the GLC Cabriolet project will be possible because of the popularity rise of drop-top SUVs.

Unfortunately, there is no space for such an offering at the current moment. In case the project will be embodied, expect one more offering from the range to be axed.
