Dont Expect Lexus LFA Successor to Come out Soon

Lexus has presented the LC 500 and LC 500h not long ago. However, the automaker is not going to create a replacement for the LFA.

Speaking with Autocar, the chief of Lexus Europe revealed that it may happen so that one day they will develop one more supercar, but personally he considers that this is not what they need at the moment. He continued to say that the LFA is perceived as an icon, but they want to develop more affordable and emotional vehicles.

The LFA was a limited-edition high-end vehicle equipped with a 4.8-litre ten-cylinder motor that generated 553 hp and torque of 354 pound-feet. In such a way, the car could accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds. Its top speed was 202 mph.

Meanwhile, the LC 500 rides with a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated eight-cylinder engine pushing out 467 hp and torque of 389 lb-ft. The automaker has not specified the details. According to previous information, the vehicle will accelerate from 0-62 in almost 4.5 seconds.
