China, expect to see Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew

Ford revealed its plans to market the next year’s F-150 Raptor SuperCrew in China. This will begin next year.

The truck with high performance will be imported from North America when the production starts. The vehicle will be produced at the Dearborn Truck Plant situated in Michigan. The car will feature the identical technical specifications as the American offering. It will combine a 3.5-litre six-cylinder ExoBoost engine with an innovated 10-speed automatic gear box and an all-wheel-drive set-up with a torque-on-demand transfer case.

Having more than 411 hp and torque of 434 pound-feet, the pick-up is going to be rather fast. Besides, it will retain the off-road features found in F-150.

The F-150 Raptor SuperCrew will stand together with the already available Mustang. These offerings from Ford will be a part of the performance segment for the market in China. The Focus RS and the GT supercar are heading to China in order to meet the required number of fast vehicles.

As the GT and Raptor both feature 3.5-litre engines, their consumption tax will stand at 25%. Besides, China charges a 17% value-added tax. We know that the next year’s GT costs starting from $450,000. So, the supercar will cost a fortune.
