Mercedes has faced with a problem that the other producers would love to face.
The customers enjoyed the ultra-posh S650 Cabriolet in the U.S. so much, that the automaker has made up a decision to choose which customers will receive a privilege of getting the offering limited locally to 75 cars. Dealerships will contact the “best” customers and provide them with “the right of first refusal”.
The S650 Cabriolet from Mercedes-Maybach is priced at more than $300,000. Despite this fact, the Americans are already standing in lines to get it. The automaker calls the unit a “superluxury convertible". It is said to arrive this spring and last for a model year at minimum. Lots of people wanted to get the drop-top offering at its presentation.
The U.S.-spec car will be possible to obtain in 3 liveries: Cote d’Azur Blue paint with Porcelain / Saddle Brown cabin, designo Diamond White paint with Porcelain / Yacht Blue cabin and Zircon Red paint with Porcelain / Black cabin.
