2 VTEC Turbo Engines For 2017 Honda Civic

The innovated, 10th-gen Civic Hatchback from Honda has arrived and will be showed off in Paris.

Civic Type R prototype will be also presented. This article has to deal with the European specification of the offering, because the American version has been presented nearly a month ago.

The vehicle is indeed innovated. Its size is larger, design is more aggressive, the platform is new, the engines are turbocharged. Besides, it still stays “a car for all people”, says the producer from Japan.

The car has received the new styling and features a new sophisticated suspension construction along with the lower centre of gravity. Two new turbo petrol motors have been added. The innovated Civic oriented on Europe will become the 1st vehicle from Honda with a 1.0-litre V3 engine generating 130 hp at 5,500 rpm.

A bigger 1.5-litre turbo engine will replace the 1.8-litre unit. It is able to produce 182 hp. It can work together with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.
