Pictures of the coming-soon 3-row SUV from the German automaker leaked on the Web before the vehicle’s presentation at this year’s Auto Show in Los Angeles.

The Mercedes GLS-Class is the latest variant of the GL-Class from previous years. This SUV is on the top of the company’s range. The car boasts a little bit changed styling at the front and rear parts of it. It is impossible to see if there are any interior changes.

The same powerplants will equip the GLS-Class. Therefore, expect it to ride with a turbocharged diesel six-cylinder for the base offering. This engine can develop 240 hp and torque of 455 pound-feet. It will also be possible to obtain the same engine with enhanced power (362 hp) and torque (369 lb-ft). Meanwhile, a turbo eight-cylinder will generate 429 hp and torque of 516 lb-ft. The manufacturer noticed that the range topping offering will be possible to buy with a turbo eight-cylinder producing 550 hp and torque of 560 lb-ft. All vehicles will be equipped with 4Matic all-wheel drive set-up.
