See 100 Prototypes of Next Year's Mercedes-Benz E-Class

An amateur vehicle spotter that specializes in Mercedes-Benz offerings has filmed more than 100 pre-production vehicles of the next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W213).

Most of the cars are covered from the curious eyes. Though, there are some that are exposed. It is understood that the E-Class will resemble a smaller S-Class / a bigger C-Class. The preproduction models look as the regular wheelbase offering. It was found out that a LWB offering is also at play. This one could be marketed as a Mercedes-Maybach E-Class offering.

The E-Class of next generation is equipped with the identical MRA platform as its smaller relative. However, the new car will be larger than the previous one. Besides, it will shed some weight. The spy shot does not give an opportunity to explore the interior part of the car. Though, earlier photos prove that the control panel with the dual screen came from the S-Class.

Knowing that pre-production stage has already entered into force, we suppose that an official presentation of E-Class W213 will happen soon. The automaker may want to introduce us the latest offering before the vehicle’s official presentation that is scheduled to be held at NAIAS in Detroit for January. The online introduction will probably happen in December.
