A Spy Photo of Mercedes-Benz GLC was taken by a WCF Reader

Mercedes-Benz GLC prototype has been snapped by a WCF reader.

The edgy body of the car will soon disappear as the 2nd-gen of the offering is going to adopt a curvaceous silhouette. The C-Class has inspired the developers to do this, since the compact crossover was based on it. A near-production prototype can be seen here. It is wearing minimal disguise. Its interior cabin has been virtually borrowed from the sedan (W205).

The new GLC will be larger in comparison with the outgoing GLK. The new offering is not an entry-level crossover from Mercedes-Benz. This definition has been given to the A-Class-based GLA. It is known that the offering will be commercialized for the first time with an RHD layout. Moreover, it will receive a fully-fledged AMG variant. By the way, the GLK has never gained it.

The automaker has announced sometime earlier that the GLC will be officially presented on June 17. The event will take place in Germany. The vehicle will be sent for sale this autumn.
