A Dynamic Premiere of Aston Martin Vulcan at Goodwood

The Aston Martin Vulcan was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Vulcan was originally revealed at the Motor Show in Geneva. The offering is a limited edition track vehicle which has a carbon fibber monocoque underframe. The car also features a futuristic design. This styling has entailed either love or hate reactions.

A naturally-aspirated 7.0-litre twelve-cylinder engine is capable of generating more than 800 hp (or 596 kW). The engine is joined to a 6-speed sequential gear box that enables the vehicle to sprint from 0-60 mph less than in 3 seconds. The car’s top speed is 200 mpg (or 321.8 km/h).

The offering was designed to be the ultimate track vehicle. Therefore, the Vulcan is equipped with an anti-lock braking system adjustable to the driver. The model also offers a variable traction control system, a magnesium torque tube with a carbon fibber propeller shaft, a bespoke suspension with adjustable dumpers, a limited-slip differential, adjustable anti-roll bars and carbon ceramic brakes.

Dr Andy Palmer, the CEO of Aston Martin, reveals that they were going to present this model not at Goodwood, but at home. The CEO states that he will cherish the memory of seeing the Vulcan’s launch at the globally renowned and popular event for a long time.
