V3 Engine for Two of the Upcoming Audi Models
CEO of the company has confirmed that the powertrain for A1 and A3 will be of V3 kind.
It was mentioned by him during a press conference in Beijing that Audi was planning to make V3 a constant choice for subsequent modifications of A1 and A3. In order to prevent possible underestimation, CEO firmly stated that such propulsion will ensure dynamics and power.
No actual date of implementation of V3 engines was mentioned. The company only claims that A1 will be the first to test the novelty. Performance abilities of the powertrains are also still a mystery. One can only presume to see something similar to VW Polo’s 1.4-litre diesel V3 making 104 bhp.
