This Year's Honda Civic Faces Tyre Problems
Almost 10,000 Civic LX cars of two modifications are being recalled due to issues with tyres.
The affected cars came from the assembly lines in the late 2013 – early 2014. A possible defect may stem from breakdown in the process of tyre mounting conducted at the construction sites. Namely, one can suspect that a pinch occurred while manufacturing of tyre beads causing them to deform between the machines and wheel rims.
Thankfully, no connected injuries have been reported to the claims department of the Japanese company. Nevertheless, the automaker promises to change the flawed tyres free of charge.
