Mercedes-Benz S600 Debuted in North America

Detroit hosted the unveiling of the new powerful S600 from Mercedes.

Obvious improvements can be traced compared to last year’s debut, and they will mark the beginning of the new technological era for Mercedes. The modifications include a comfortable display, windscreen with a heater and touch pad-controlled infotainment device. Controls were developed in line with up-to-date smartphones.

V12 engine produces 523 hp and torque of 612 lb-ft. S600 will be equipped with the new anti-collision braking system, programmed to automatic brakes application at 124 mph and less and conducting a complete stop when the speed is less than 50 mph.

2015 Mercedes will be available in dealerships in spring. Price tag for the car is still unknown.
