Mercedes-Benz confirms GLE 450 Coupe and C450 AMG Sport Will be Presented at NAIAS

Mercedes-Benz Spain gave yesterday a press conference where they shared a few spicy details about the AMG Sport range.

Correspondents from Coches.net were at the meeting held in Barcelona. They found information about the two vehicles which will be presented at NAIAS. These two models will be the GLE450 Coupe AMG Sport and the C450 AMG Sport. The two vehicles have the same six-cylinder bi-turbo powertrain producing nearly 125 hp (or 92 kW) less than the full-scale AMG variants.

In a result, the C450 will produce nearly 385 hp (or 283 kW) if to deduct 125 hp from the model C63 AMG S or power of 351 hp (or 258 kW) if to do the math reasoned on the regular C3 AMG. Concerning the GLE Coupe, it will gain 433 hp (or 318 kW) if to compare with the ML63 AMG which is equipped with the facultative AMG Performance Set or 400 hp (or 294 kW) if to compare with the standard ML 63 AMG.

The two vehicles will be presented at the International Auto Show of North America held in Detroit. The Auto Show will start on January 12 with the press prior view.
