Geneva to Host the Debut of New Hybrid from Kia

It is official now: Kia will present its new hybrid model in Geneva.

European R&D department worked on the car featuring an engine of non-revealed specification, low-capacity electric motor and a carbon battery. From the scarce details known apart from that only one thing is clear – electric engine can be engaged within a low speed range or at cruising speed only. The vehicle is equipped with Auto Start Stop and electric supercharger helping to boost power figures when revolution figures are low.

Kia’s showcase will also include a modified Sportage which obtained a steering wheel with a heater, advanced audio system and dash board with a convenient display. The image of crossover is finished by LED tail lamps, controlled steering and optional noise suppression as well as harshness and vibration reducers.

Apart from the new hybrid vehicle Kia is planning to unveil two more cars and a concept.
