Car Thieves Prefer GL-Class from Mercedes

Think twice if you intend to buy a Mercedes SUV – these have turned out to be the most attractive for thieves.

An American bureau dealing with investigation of insurance crimes has announced that Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is a leader of unrecovered stolen vehicles with 37% of owners losing them forever. One percent behind is Land Rover.

The sample consisted of almost 30,000 SUV and crossover cars of 2011 – 2013 model years which were lifted during a 48-months period from the beginning of 2010 till the end of 2013.

Thieves have developed the most insatiable appetite for three of Fords vehicle, Jeep Grand Cherokee and crossover from Kia. The list of most dangerous car-stealing states has also been provided: top five starts, expectantly, from California, and ends through large southern and western states with New York.
