C-Class Modified Coupe from Mercedes Might Appear
Looking at the lacuna between CLS and CLA models, Mercedes seriously mulls over filling it with a four-door coupe-like saloon.
R&D spokesman of the company explained to journalists that the brand is currently in search of new potentially profitable options. He broke another important piece of news: C-Class line-up will not be limited by a four-door coupe as classical coupe and cabriolet might soon follow.
Such diversity in production plans is possible owing to the presence of four independent sites boosting the assembly time and decreasing the manufacturing expenses. C-Class novelty is planned to be shared with the public in 2015 featuring a double option of a V4 for 2.0 litres making 241 hp or a turbo six-cylinder with the displacement of 3.0 litres and 329-hp capacity.
